Driving Complaints

Officers will deal with any driving complaints that are reported to them if there is suitable evidence to show that the driving was dangerous or done without due care or attention. However, on most occasions we end up with one driver’s word against another.

Action will always be taken when witnesses are co-operative and evidence is available. If you witness driving of a poor standard while you have passengers in your car then please ask them if they are happy to give statements to the Police, as this helps us greatly.
